Band Concert for the boys

Among all of our busyness on May 15th Brandon and Trevor had their school band concert. they both did so well! This has been Trevor's first year and he has really picked up on it. His school teacher even stayed to watch him. Both of the boys had little speaking -intro parts and Brandon even had a trombone solo! We are so proud of both of them! Todd's parents were able to come to watch as well.

The same night as Christen's recital the boys had scouts. Brandon actually earned 4 merit badges - Chemistry, Cooking, First Aid and Communications

I went as a chaperone. it was a fun one and the boys were jealous that I went because they changed things around alot since be had been as a family.

Mother's Day

Todd's parents came down for Mother's Day dinner. We are so blessed to have them close again!

Todd made a wonderful dinner on the bbq and twiced baked potatoes and chocolate cake plus fresh bread and fruit salad from grandpa. It was WONDERFUL! The kids and Todd also made a great breakfast before church and there were signs everywhere for me!

Christen has been so cute lately wanting to read read read!!! This was just too good to pass up. She is our little Sleeping Beauty!!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend -Happy Summer!

So, I am about a month behind with blogging! At first nothing was going on and then stuff happened and then I was too busy. I will try to catch up. The below post is out of order but Brandon wanted to play and put it together. He did such a great job. We were too cheap to pay for the upgrade but if you click play and then wait for a sec you can see the little scrapbook he created!

Later -- the music was conflictng with my other music and I couldnt turn the dance music off - anyhow I deleted the first dance blog and reposted it so it is at the top now. We had a great Memorial Day weekend. I will post some pics soon. Todd had a band concert, we bbqed with the neighbors and we went for our traditional hike in Castlewood Canyon.
